Remote Circulation Upload to Destiny
When you are done performing a remote circulation, regardless of the Destiny product, you are ready to upload the file(s) to your Destiny workstation.
Important: Be sure to upload remote circulations as soon as possible.
File Naming Convention
The file naming convention that Follett Remote uses is labeled by the type of circulation and date, as follows:
- Library Manager
LibraryCirculation<yearmonthday>
- Textbook Manager
TextbookCirculation<yearmonthday>
- Media Manager
MediaCirculation<yearmonthday>
- Resource Manager
ResourceCirculation<yearmonthday>
example: You perform a remote library circulation on 06/14/2019. The file that Follett Remote creates is named: LibraryCirculation2019-06-14
.
To upload a remote circulation file:
- On the Follett Remote device you are using, exit out of Follett Remote.
- Plug the device into a computer with Destiny on it. Microsoft ActiveSync opens.
- In Microsoft ActiveSync, click Explore. A Mobile Device pop-up lists all the files on the Follett device.
- Select the IPSM > Follett Remote directory.
- Find the circulation file you want to upload, such as
LibraryCirculation<yearmonthday>.
- Copy the circulation file, and paste it on your desktop.
- In Destiny, select Circulation > Offline Circulation. The Offline Circulation page appears.
- In the Transaction File field, click Choose File.
- Navigate to the circulation

file.important: If the Follett device you used previously had minimal charge left, the year of the file name can be corrupted. If you cannot find the file to upload, look for a file with the date you performed the remote circulation, but with the wrong year. - Select the file.

Complete the fields, and then click Upload Scans. The Job Manager page opens.
- When the job has finished running, click View.
