Servicing Teams (Resource Manager)

Schools and districts can create Servicing Teams that are responsible for repairs. They can designate a team head. They can assign these teams to the resource templates.
note The assigned Servicing team and member appear in the Help Ticket History and on the Deleted Resources report.
To work with servicing teams (create or edit)
- If you are not on the
Edit <resource> Template
page, then follow the steps in the blue title bar. - Find the template you want to edit; make applicable edits.
- Click Assign repair responsibility.
- Click Other.... The Manage Servicing Teams page opens.
- Select what you want to do:
- On the Manage Servicing Teams page, click Add Team (max 50 characters).
- To designate the head of the team, click +Select.
- Search for and select the patron.
- Click Save.
- From the Managing Service Team page, click X Close. You are returned to the Edit <resource> Template page.
- Use the drop-down list to select the Servicing Team.
- Click Save.
- Use the drop-down list to select the Servicing Team. At the district, the list contains both site and district teams.
- Click Save.
- Under Additional Servicing Teams, click Edit next to an existing team. These are teams created by another site or a district resource manager. To assign one of these additional teams, you'll need to make it a local team.
- On the Edit Servicing Team page, edit the name, if desired. This changes the name for the entire district.
- If you are a site resource manager, select the Local Servicing Team checkbox. This changes the district team to a local team for this site.
- To designate the head of the team, click +Select.
- Search for and select the patron.
- Click Save. The Manage Servicing Team page opens.
- Click Close.
- Click the drop-down list to select the Servicing Team.
- Click Save.
important You cannot assign a patron to a team if that patron has only a district login.
- Find the team you want, click the Edit icon. The Edit Servicing Team page opens.
- Search for and select a patron for the team.
- To remove a team member, click the Delete icon next to the person’s name.
- To name the head of the servicing team, click Select if it's not defined yet, or Clear and then Select if it is.
- Click Save.
The Servicing Team page has a Members Assigned column, which includes the head of the team.
The servicing team appears on the Add Template and Edit Template pages. If a template has a servicing team assigned to it, any template below it inherits the servicing team.
note Once Servicing Teams are created, a Help Ticket is automatically assigned to the head of the local team responsible for repairing that resource. The Help Ticket appears in the Open section of the Help Tickets queue.
